1 ST APPOINTMENT

FOOT AND GAIT EXAMINATION

Sneakers

Let us know if there have been any changes to your feet.  We will verify safe fit of your shoes.

Kindly allow us time to custom fit your orthotics to your new shoes.  Your second, dispensing appointment usually takes 1/2 hour, but allow time for the unexpected.

CUSTOM FIT

Then enjoy comfortable walking with the assurance that you are protecting your feet with your new therapeutic footwear.

Passion Led Us Here

  1. The goal is to fit you to footwear that is safe, and that you will enjoy wearing.

  2. After a brief examination, we will measure your feet with a Brannock Device.

  3. Consider whether you prefer laces or velcro and what style you would like: athletic, oxford, dress, workbook, etc.

  4. Then we will try shoes

  5. You may have lots of choices in style or not, depending upon your condition.

  6. Then we may make an impression of your feet for foot orthotics.  These are cushioning pads that distribute pressures on your feet, leading to a reduction in callluses.

FOOTWEAR IN 10 DAYS OR LESS ...

Usually we can prepare your footwear in 10 days or less, but what slows the process down is getting the proper forms from your healthcare team.

If you have the ability to get your own forms, you can expedite your job.  The process starts with a foot exam.
